Months ago I applied online to SOCAN....months went by...so I phoned them - they said we were waiting to see if I belonged to any other organizations or something! When I told them I did not, they said ok.....months later and still haven't heard from them!!! What's going on??? I have a cd already and want to release it.

Hey guys,

I work for a Christian radio station called Ginseng Radio. Our website is http://www.ginsengradio.com and it's part of a NP organization called Youth Unlimited. This is an open call for Canadian Christian Music from all genres. Please visit http://www.ginsengradio.com/about.html for more information on submission requirements.

Thanks,

If you're living in Canada, join SOCAN. It's free, and they track any activity/money your song generates on radio, TV, movies, WalMarts, etc. SOCAN has an online registration forum for songs and instrumentals.

CMRRA keeps track of record sales, so if another artist records your material, you'll see royalties that way.

@ Dave,
Welcome to the Songwriter's group. The subject of songwriting software is a very interesting one that requires some discussion within this group. I would suggest for you to start a discussion thread, in order to focus the discussion. Check the link directly above the comments section.
God bless you.
