CHRISTIAN COMPUTING MAGAZINE has been around for MANY MANY YEARS. I used to subscribe to the print version. They moved to digital PDF versions about 10 years ago.
Do not write this magazine off as it is the mother, so to speak of several magazines and annual conferences which present an abundant and diverse variety of topics. Among them music and worship.
Think about it this way. To oversimplify, music in the church can be simply wholesome entertainment or it can be worship to the Lord.
The current generation is much more involved in using music for worship. Have you heard any campfire songs in church lately? I used to back in the 60's and 70's. It was the beginning of the transition from solely singing hymns to more contemporary style of music.
Boil it all down and everything we do as a church should bring people closer to the Lord and perhaps an invitation to meet Him for the first time. Sometimes we forget this as Matt Redman indicates in the song
"I'm Coming Back to the Heart of Worship" See more about Matt at his website.
Back to the point: MUSIC and COMPUTING and VIDEO and WORSHIP are all interrelated. And so they should be. I think the Lord is happy about integration since he designed it!
Ever heard of a
BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT or FATHER, HOLY SPIRIT and SON [cast is in order of appearance in the
